Notes

Everyone likes a good sloppy joe. I ate them all the time as a kid. A few years ago I decided to make some and grabbed a can of manwich at the store. I made it according to the directions and it tasted awful. Basically like ketchup diluted with corn syrup and tons of sugar. I started looking up recipes to make it from scratch and tried several. After combining the best of many different recipes and making a few adjustments, I have settled on the recipe above. Not too sweet or saucy but with plenty of flavor.
